We are excited to announce update version 1.7 for WP FeedBack PRO.

We’ve been growing the team over the past few weeks, giving us fresh eyes on our platform. This has enabled us to fine tune pieces of code and provide even more compatibility to ensure that our plugin works on any kind of setup.

Flatsome Theme Compatibility

A support ticket was sent through from one of our users (thank you Adam from The Green Thread Club), who was having some issues while having Flatsome theme installed alongside WP FeedBack PRO.

Our amazing dev team investigated this issue and found that tasks were not staying in the location where they were being created. This was due to the HTML structure of Flatsome theme and the code which we were using to attach tasks.

We have now solved this issue, changing the way structure of how tasks are attached. This has completely fixed the problem, making WP FeedBack PRO 100% compatible with Flatsome Theme.

If you haven’t checked out Flatsome and you are looking for a WordPress theme for your Ecomm store, we suggest you check it out here.

Realtime Task Summary Count

On the boards section, we’ve added a count of how many tasks are in each of the different columns. This is a small additions but it gives you a clear view of how much work needs doing and what’s been done.

As you drag and drop tasks, the numbers will change accordingly of course. We hope this makes things even clearer when using the Task Boards!

Sharing Dashboard Tasks

We’ve added a query string to the URLs of the tasks, this way you can share the URL to land on the exact website and task (rather than look for it after every page load).

We also took the opportunity to improve the internal flow within the dashboard. From now on, if you have a task open on either the Boards or the Task Center, any click between the 3 will search and open the relevant task you had on the other screen. Allowing you to navigate between the 2 screens seamlessly.

To explain these two new dashboard features, I have recorded a video you can watch below.
